Greetings to all who have made it here. Please bear with me as this is my first effort at blogging and I'm still familiarizing myself with how everything works.
For my first post I wanted to provide some background info, but then realized it might be helpful to have some of that information always available for people, so I created a separate "page" with some background info, including a tentative itinerary, and there's a link to it over there on the right side of the main page above my picture. As the trip progresses, I'll probably update some of the info.
