As many of you have noticed - and at least one of you has verbalized ;) - I tend to stay pretty far behind in the blog, which is due to a number of factors, but primarily my affinity for procrastination. So I've decided to change things up a bit. I'll continue to post overly long rambling summaries of each place after I get a chance to cull, edit and upload photos and type out summaries, which will probably end up being 5-20 days after I leave somewhere if the past is any indication. But at the risk of making it even more confusing, I'm also going to try to throw up a really short post as I get to each new destination so that worried parents know that I'm still alive and those that wonder where I am in real time, rather than where I was 2 weeks ago, will be kept up to date.
So, without further ado, greetings from Tallinn, Estonia, where I've been for the last couple of days. I'm planning to be in Europe for the next 3 months or so, returning to the States sometime between mid-October and mid-November. I haven't figured out the exact plan, but I'll be heading south from here stopping in Latvia and Lithuania on the way to Poland. From there, who knows...
oh no! i was kidding! i am sorry! this is what happens when i have a few drinks and get on the internet--i make a big fuss about things i didn't necessarily really mean! and then i wake up to FB emails and wonder what i did. oops.
ReplyDeleteHaha, don't apologize. This is actually something I've been kicking around for a while now. Being constantly a week or two behind has bothered me since I started with the blog, so I think I would've made the change without your encouragement. I debated Facebook check-in's as a solution, but my parents (who constitute about half my readership) don't really use fb, so I think this is a better solution.
