Cesky Krumlov

Day 247 - Tuesday, September 25

Tuesday, I moved a little south of Prague to Cesky Krumlov, a smaller quieter town, that is a popular backpacker stop. The place I stayed, Krumlov House was a great hostel (any place without bunk beds is awesome as far as I'm concerned), but this may be the awesomest door I've ever come across:

The town was pretty small so I was able to see just about all of it just walking around a few hours on Tuesday. A few pics:

Day 248 - Wednesday, September 26

Having seen most of the town, and with the weather being really nice, I decided to do a little hike on day 2 in Cesky Krumlov. The highest point around wasn't very high, but it was a pleasant walk through the outskirts of the town. One more photo of the tower as I walked through town:

At the top I spent several hours finishing reading another book, my fourth in the previous week (for the record, I have, for the moment, decided against reading the Shades of Grey books, so I guess I get to keep my man-card for now). This day was probably a good example of two of the biggest changes I've undergone since quitting my job. I would now consider myself a hiker and a reader, two words that you definitely could not have used to describe me before.
